MoVING AND GROOVING
Dance instruction in both square dancing and folk dancing is available on a compact disc series called "Moving and Grooving." It targets ages 9 (grade4) through adult. Developed and produced by the British Columbia Square and Round Dance Federation, the instruction is given on 8 cd's and supported by a detailed 169 page handbook. The program is divided into two parts, the "Moving" portion presents folk dances and the "Grooving" portion addresses modern square dancing. This series is helpful where a square dance caller-teacher is not available to do the teaching in person.
